Well, after two and a half weeks my mom flew home today. Can I just say that I hate living so stinkin' far away!! I cried... I cried when I woke up this morning just thinking about her going home today and I cried again all the way home from the airport. She is amazing and I loved having her here. I am grateful that she made the sacrifice to be here to help out (and maybe more so my dad, for letting her come!) Carter and Gage absolutely loved having her here, they loved doing art projects with her, reading stories, going to McDonald's and playing game after game after game. Carter loved the treats she would get from the store for his lunches, and the notes she wrote and put in his lunchbox. I loved that she helped out in
every way imaginable! And as an added bonus she is so much fun to be around. I miss her already! Love you Mom!!

Oh, moms are wonderful... it seriously stinks, to be so far from them. You look great, by the way!
I love your Mom too. I had the privilege of watching her as a mother when I stayed with your parents in Germany for two months, and even as an 11-year-old I knew she an exceptional Mom. I can imagine she is just as great as a grandma!! I also knew your Mom and Dad loved each other then and it is still obvious these many years later. You have three darling boys. Though it is hectic and challenging, enjoy this time!!!
I am sure your Mom cried on the way home also and I am sure she had fun with the kids even if it will take her a week to rest up. I know!!!!! Too bad she won't read this blog!!!!!!! Love to all.

CONGRATS! I didn't realize you had your baby. I need to check blogs more often. I love the name you picked. He is so stinkin cute too! I hope you are all doing well! What a cute little family of boys!:)
