Quick Trip??
I am not sure when I will learn that a quick trip to the store, even if it is just to get one thing just doesn't happen with 3 little boys. I had to run into Michael's to get some buttons to finish up Carter's Halloween costume. I had planned to do it in the morning but Cam's doctors appointment took longer than expected. Sooo I had to resort to going with all 3 of them. No big deal I thought, it's in and out, ONE thing, we can do this. As soon as we get into the store Carter says "I have to go to the bathroom mom!" At first I told him he had to wait but then I could tell he really had to go. We were close to the bathroom so I pointed him in the right direction and told him to hurry and come right back. Well then of course Gage has to go to the bathroom. So we all head back there. Carter had just snuck into the bathroom so I pointed Gage towards the men's room and told him to go in with Carter. Well the men's room and the emergency exit doors were right next to each other so you can imagine my surprise as I all of a sudden hear the fire alarm going off and I look up to see Gage, with terror and near tears in his eyes, running toward me. Carter came running out 2 seconds later, pants half done up asking what was going on. I couldn't stop laughing. So we did eventually get our buttons but not without a little bit of drama first!

Ha ha... that's hilarious. Glad you could laugh in the heat of the moment. ;)
I thought you learned from your last shopping trip? :) I've learned there is no such thing as a quick trip when you have to take 3 kids in!
That is hilarious Nicole. It's a good thing you have a great sense of humor. I haven't had the fire alarm go off (crossing my fingers), but I am familiar with "Code Adam" and children (namely Chase) running away from me at top speed. Boys!
Aaaaah ha hahaha hah! That is freakin' hilarious. I had the boys reinact this in my head and it was dang funny then too. I can't wait til Cam is big enough to start causing mischief too.
Your life is never dull.
